Job Duties Work within the scrum team, design/implement new features and services while adhering to best-practices and accepted technical standards In-depth understanding of the architecture, dependencies, and technical limitations of the application(s) you work with Produce detailed architecture diagrams and documentation accurately capturing current state of application(s) as well as new feature implementation details Guide the team in technical decisions This is a hands‑on role, and you will be expected to make an active contribution to development Maintain a high level of quality in your output and test your own work before passing to QA for verification Maintain an up‑to‑date knowledge of existing and emerging technologies relevant to the role Communicate and elevate issues in a clear and timely manner Qualifications BS in computer science or related STEM field 10+ years of experience in software development of complex applications Any UI experience such as Angular Fluency in programming languages such as NodeJS, Python, C#, C++ would be an advantage Proven track record designing and implementing performant, resilient and scalable SaaS applications following microservice architecture in real‑world scenarios Experience with cloud computing technologies and platforms such as Azure/AWS, Docker containers, Kubernetes Data modeling and database design experience (SQL Server, Postgres, MongoDB) Knowledge of AI/ML technologies Experience with Cloud platform technologies and infrastructure: Azure and/or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, etc. DevOps skills (build pipeline tools and technologies such as: GitLab Runner) Experience in writing unit tests Preference for prior experience building Petro technical and real‑time acquisition software in the O&G industry Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher level roles given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs.
