Job Title: Special Education Teacher (EI)
Location: Cassopolis, MI
Pay Rate: $40.00 $50.00 per hour
Position Overview:
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Cassopolis, MI. This full-time role supports a caseload of approximately 8 students . While an Emotional Impairment (EI) endorsement is preferred, candidates with a valid Michigan Special Education endorsement may also be considered under temporary approval.
Responsibilities:

* Provide individualized instruction and support to students with special needs.
* Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal requirements.
* Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers.
* Monitor and document student progress toward academic and behavioral goals.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

* Valid Michigan teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
* EI endorsement strongly preferred (temporary approval possible for Special Ed endorsement holders).
* Experience working with students with emotional impairments or related exceptionalities.
* Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
