Janitor $16$17/hr | Full-Time | Auto Auction Facility | South Suburbs Hiring Areas: Markham, Matteson, Harvey, Oak Forest, Midlothian, Country Club Hills, Blue Island Worksite: High-traffic auto auction facility (exact address shared during interview) Pay: $16.00 $18.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: 8am - 1pm | MondayFriday Job Overview:Skyward Building Services is hiring dependable, hard-working Janitorial Staff to maintain the cleanliness and safety of a fast-paced auto auction site. This is a full-time, physically active role where youll help keep a large facility looking professional and running smoothly. Responsibilities Include:Sweeping, mopping, and power washing floors in warehouse and office areasCleaning and disinfecting restrooms, break rooms, and office spacesEmptying trash cans and replacing liners throughout the facilityRefilling supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soapCleaning glass, doors, and high-touch surfaces regularlyAssisting with light outdoor cleaning (trash pickup, entryway tidiness)Reporting maintenance or safety concerns to supervisorsFollowing safety guidelines and using janitorial equipment properly Requirements:Must be reliable and able to work independentlyComfortable in an active, large-scale facilityAble to lift 2530 lbs, bend, walk, and stand for long periodsPrevious janitorial, warehouse, or industrial cleaning experience is a plus (but not required) What We Offer:$16$18/hr starting pay, depending on experience40 hours/week consistent, full-time scheduleOpportunities for growth and additional hours401(k) and PTO available after eligibility period Apply today and start working with a trusted, growing team at Skyward Building Services!Were hiring now dont miss your opportunity for full-time, reliable work in a respected facility.
