We're searching for a Cloud Security Engineer with expertise in Azure and Microsoft 365 to join a passionate, fast-moving team dedicated to protecting enterprise environments and enabling secure cloud transformations. What You’ll Do Architect and implement cutting-edge cloud security controls aligned with Zero Trust, NIST, and enterprise security standards Manage identity and access in Azure AD / Entra ID using RBAC, PIM, MFA, and Conditional Access Secure the Microsoft 365 ecosystem: Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive Lead secure Azure tenant migrations using tools like AvePoint and other platforms Apply and manage data loss prevention, classification, and retention policies with Microsoft Purview Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and security events Provide Tier 3 support for performance or security escalations Drive compliance with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, RMF, and other frameworks Partner across technical and business teams to ensure cloud security scales with organizational needs Dig into performance root causes and implement lasting fixes Occasionally support planned after-hours changes or incident response You Bring Strong knowledge of Microsoft security solutions: Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Center, and Purview Experience configuring Azure RBAC, policies, PIM, and automation Hands-on AvePoint experience for tenant migrations and data backup Familiarity with security frameworks: CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, RMF, CIS, ISO 27001 Firewall knowledge (FortiGate, Palo Alto, SonicWall a plus) A collaborative, growth-oriented mindset and comfort in fast-moving environments Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field Minimum 3 years of Microsoft 365 administration Demonstrated experience in several of the following: Azure Security Center / Microsoft Defender Microsoft Sentinel Intune or Microsoft Purview Microsoft Identity governance tools (RBAC, MFA, Conditional Access) PowerShell scripting Preferred Certifications (or willingness to pursue): AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Engineer SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Information Technology Industries Business Consulting and Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Morson Talent by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Security Engineer” roles.
