About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all financial, accounting, IT, and HR functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring strong financial performance, operational efficiency, and sound governance. This role involves leading and developing cross-functional teams, overseeing all financial operations, driving continuous improvement in ERP systems and financial processes, and managing budgets and forecasts. The CFO will also be a key partner to the executive team, aligning financial strategy with business goals, and providing data-driven insights to support growth and investment decisions.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company must have a Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a Masters or CPA preferred. A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance leadership, particularly in the construction or related services industry with a focus on percentage-of-completion accounting, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance, as well as proven leadership and communication skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems is essential. The CFO will be expected to develop and monitor key performance indicators, safeguard company assets through effective risk management, and ensure compliance with relevant standards. Travel Percent
